Heart to Heart 

 

 

The Heart to Heart program, a 501c3 organization, assist victims of domestic violence and their children to break the cycle of violence. The Heart to Heart program provides one on one session of encouragement . It is our mission to encourage, equip, and empower women experiencing emotional, physical and verbal abuse.Through the word of God to receive hope, strength and support. Through Heart to Heart, we empower others to believe that it is possible to not only overcome trauma, but also to thrive and reclaim joy.

Our mission:

 The Heart to Heart program allows a place where we can listen to women, tell them about Jesus, encourage them in their faith, teach them to pray for their situation, and offer physical help if they want it.

 

Our Goal is to :

Uphold the importance of prayer .

*Cry out to God, the Rescuer and Deliverer. If the abused woman is a believer, help her learn how to pray about her circumstances

*Encourage with eternal hope 
*Remind her that the brokenness of this life is not the end. Tell her to look to Christ, who secured an eternal hope that is an anchor for our lives. Explain the peace and life that come by faith in Jesus as her Savior.

*Speak of God’s tender love for her 

Many abused women see themselves as unworthy of love. They believe that they deserve the abuse. Remind them that they are precious in God’s eyes and yours.

 

 Deuteronomy 31:8 "The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."

 

Even if we have not been abused, many know a Savior who way- may not know what it feels like to experience that type of abuse, but Jesus does.
